Based on Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland, Bob Eddy has been building traditional longbows for some years. He stands by all his products, offering a written warranty that ensures peace of mind for the customer.
Each bow is individual, custom made to the buyer and a matter of pride to the maker. Australian timbers are given priority, although some imported woods may be available at times upon request.
I offer a range of custom, handcrafted longbows, one piece and takedown recurves. Currently all bows have bamboo as core laminations as it is dimensionally stable, predictable and high performance.
Extreme pride and care is taken to craft every bow and all bows carry a 12 month written warranty and are supplied with custom fastflight strings and are all designed to shoot off the shelf.
Riser and veneer timbers are listed below. Laminations are bamboo unless specifically requested otherwise, however supplies are limited. All timbers are subject to availability. Please contact for options or if you have any questions.
